Every few years on the net, a true internet legend is born.

Think back!

The two founders of Yahoo!, David Filo and Jerry Yang, Ph.D., candidates in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, started their legend in a campus trailer in February 1994!

In 1994 Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos who subsequently became one of the great dot-com entrepreneurs!

Pierre Omidyar launched eBay’s AuctionWeb on Labor Day, 1995!

Sabeer Bhatia launched HoTMaiL (the uppercase letters spelling out HTML - the language used to write the base of a webpage) on July 4, 1996 and sold it to Microsoft for a reported sum of $400-million on December 30, 1997!

In September 1998, Google’s founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin opened its door in Menlo Park, California!

PayPal founded by Max Levchin, Peter Thiel and Luke Nosek went public in February 2002, and was subsequently acquired by eBay!

YouTube was founded by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim in 2005 and sold to Google for 1.65 Billion-US dollars to Google in 2006!

2007 brought Myspace and Agloco!

These companies have endured and grown stronger.
